Sailing on autumn breezes, the team trained with instructor Kevin Bridges of Cornwall Sailing Academy aboard the yacht Brunhilda. The course covered passage planning, pilotage, boat handling, and night sailing, with each crew member taking charge of the vessel as skipper. The week included a coastal passage from Falmouth to Fowey, putting the crew's passage planning and pilotage to a real test, with the local family of Risso's dolphins making an appearance along the way.

"This year has been our busiest yet, and I wanted to thank the team properly," said Bob Colclough, founder of Morek Engineering. "We work best when we're challenged, so a treat with a purpose was the answer. We spend our working lives modelling how vessels, moorings and cargo behave at sea. Spending a week making the decisions a skipper makes, in real conditions, gives all of us a sharper feel for the operations we design for."

The team would like to thank Kevin for his patience, and Brunhilda for her hospitality.
