Rowing the gig Fury, Jamie and his crewmates took the Open title at one of the sport's biggest events, held over the early-May bank holiday weekend when hundreds of crews race across the waters off Scilly. The win adds to Falmouth's record as the most successful men's club in the championship's history.

Pilot gig racing is a Cornish tradition dating back to the days when six-oared boats raced to put a pilot aboard incoming ships. It demands the kind of endurance, precision and teamwork we like to think we bring to our engineering, so we're proud to have a world champion among the team.
