Your profile:

  • Design & Analysis: Work on mooring system configurations using industry-standard Orcaflex and CAD tools.
  • Project Collaboration: Partner with seasoned engineers across various disciplines to develop innovative solutions.
  • Operational Support: Assist in designing and refining offshore operations, ensuring adherence to safety and efficiency standards.
  • Field Engagement: Participate in site visits and operational assessments to gain practical insights and contribute to performance improvements.
  • Continuous Learning: Engage with training programs and professional development initiatives to stay current with industry advancements.

Our offer:

This 6-month scheme is designed to provide a robust introduction to the offshore renewables and blue economy sectors while equipping graduates with essential engineering skills that are highly valued in today’s market.

This is a full-time, fixed-term position lasting six months. Employment will be through a temporary graduate contract designed explicitly for this developmental programme.  Following this, if after this term the fit is right, we will be looking to discuss a permanent role in the business. During the program you will benefit from:

Hours: The scheme requires a standard 37.5-hour workweek with core office hours, subject to project and operational needs.

Location: Primarily based at our offices in Falmouth, with occasional travel to project locations and client offices as required.

Salary: Competitive graduate-level remuneration reflective of your academic achievements and industry potential.

Required:

We are looking to recruit a recent graduate with a degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering or a closely related field. You will need to demonstrate a track record in technical problem solving and be eager to apply theoretical knowledge in practical, real-world projects.

Existing technical skills in CAD, FEA and marine design tools such as Orcaflex will be very welcome. Also of interest is skills in data analysis and programing, particularly python.
